Thirsting for Knowledge Thursdays – 12/13/12

In my thirst for knowledge, I went searching for information on the Log Cabin quilt block. I was always told the center of the block was red to symbolize the hearth (or heart) of a home, the light side of the block was where the sun hit the house, and the dark side was opposite.

I found some great information here. I’m kind of partial to the mummy theory, myself. How about you?
