Good Monday! So many things on my mind, I hope I can stay on task and not run after shiny things. Here goes:
The survey results have been so positive! I’ll leave it open for another few days, but in the meantime, I want you to know that most of you think it would be okay for me to close the store on Mondays. Wow! A two-day weekend! I haven’t had one of those in . . . well . . . several years, anyway. But don’t despair! If you have a group who would like to shop on a Monday, I will be open by appointment only. And sometimes, on Mondays, I’ll be in the store working, so if you have an emergency (like you run out of thread, or need another 2″ of that fabric you just cut wrong), you can always call to see if I can help you out. And sometimes, we might hold all-day classes on Mondays.
I did some Christmas shopping last Sunday, and then again yesterday. I have a few more things to take care of, but I’m close to being finished. If your spouses were waiting until the last minute to shop, send them in to get that 634D serger you wanted, or perhaps the 990D serger. Perhaps you wanted a portable machine to take to classes? I have the JP 760 and the Jem Gold 3 in stock, waiting for you!
One of my brothers, Tom, and his family will arrive at Margaret’s Marriott on Thursday night. We’re so excited to see them – it’s always fun. Before I went shopping yesterday, I cleaned their suite. Just have to get the beds made, and we’re ready for them! Right after they leave, our kids will arrive; both on Christmas Eve. It will be a wonderful Christmas at our house, because we’ll have Mom, us, and the kids under one roof for a few days.
River Place Q&S will be CLOSED December 24 and 25, and December 31 and January 1. We will be open Saturday, December 22 – but if it’s a slow day, I will close early (3:00), since the Browne Family Christmas party is that afternoon, and I’d rather get there sooner than later!
Enjoy your week!
