Thanks to Kelly Mertz, who helped me at the Berrien Towne & Country Quilt Show this past weekend. It’s always good to have help at the shows, especially with the loading, unloading, setting up, tearing down, loading, and driving both ways. Sure wish I could be Samantha Stevens; I’d wiggle my nose and I’d be at the show venue, all set up and ready to sell! Alas, I’m not.
Due to low (or no) participation, we are canceling Bag Ladies, Embroidery Club, and PMS this week. Look for an email soon about our revised class schedules and store calendar.
Those of you who are doing the Sew Spooky Block of the Month – we WILL meet this Friday at 12:30. If you will be here that morning for Stitcher’s Garden, be sure to bring a lunch!
We have a new (but really, very old!) Block of the Month starting as soon as we can get the kits cut. It’s called Moonglow by Jinny Beyer. I’ll have details out later today or tomorrow about the deposit and monthly cost; we’ll begin taking deposits on Wednesday. Only ten kits will be available, so if you want to do this block of the month, be sure to get your deposit made.
