Show-Off Saturday – 5/26/12

Today we have two beautiful projects to share!

The first is by Beverly O’Brien. She made this for the town of Ringgold, Georgia, which was destroyed in a tornado. The message of the project is reflected in the square panels – the birds will sing again and the sun will rise over the pine trees once more. It was made in the colors of Ringgold’s high school, which was also destroyed in the tornado.

Thanks for sharing!

The second project is by Bessie Smyth, who made this gorgeous, hand-appliqued quilt from the book “The Quilt Revival” by Carol Gilham Jones & Bobbi Finley. Beautiful job!

Those are both beautiful. I’m so glad Bev got her wall hanging finished for her brother. The quilt is stunning, so cheerful. Keep up the good work.
